At the intersection of Church and Carlton, looking east. I was just trying to get my camera working (it takes a while to turn on) before the light turned green, when the tourbus came into the intersection and gave a good shot of red. I wasn't sure how much of it I got, as the camera was just over my handlebars. The place with the flags is Zippers, which I'm 99% sure is a very gay bar. If it isn't then the bands they advertise on the sign out from have crazy-ass names! If I was to shoot to the left, from where that girl is coming from, you'd see the corner of Maple Leaf Gardens. I'll shoot a photo of that soon... I ride by that shrine to hockey (soon to be a giant grocery store) twice a day.

who: I'm in Toronto, and I write stuff here

when: Mainly riding my bike to and from work.

how: I found a Concord Duo 1300 on ebay for $27 CDN, so I can cart it around on my bike and not worry about wrecking a pricey camera. It has no viewscreen or anything, so it's cool seeing how the pics turn out later. I sometimes borrow Tracy's Kodak CX7300, but not very often.

what: I'll try and write a little bit about what is in each photo, and where it is, for anyone from outside Toronto.
