Once apon a time, south of Queen St. East, between Coxwell & Woodbine, lived a horsetrack for over 100 years. It closed in 1993, and the land was made into condos, houses, and parkland. This is a view of some of the park, and the westernmost houses. These houses were moderately expensive when being built, but it's now not usually for each one to sell for more than a million.

who: I'm in Toronto, and I write stuff here

when: Mainly riding my bike to and from work.

how: I found a Concord Duo 1300 on ebay for $27 CDN, so I can cart it around on my bike and not worry about wrecking a pricey camera. It has no viewscreen or anything, so it's cool seeing how the pics turn out later. I sometimes borrow Tracy's Kodak CX7300, but not very often.

what: I'll try and write a little bit about what is in each photo, and where it is, for anyone from outside Toronto.
