I went up to Spadina and Bloor on Friday to see what Critical Mass is like. It's a pro-cycling thing that takes place in cities all over the world - a bunch of cyclists gather together and sort of take over the roads for a bit, taking a random route through downtown. This photo is Queen Street West, looking east towards University (where the under-construction building is). You can see more photos from this here.

who: I'm in Toronto, and I write stuff here

when: Mainly riding my bike to and from work.

how: I found a Concord Duo 1300 on ebay for $27 CDN, so I can cart it around on my bike and not worry about wrecking a pricey camera. It has no viewscreen or anything, so it's cool seeing how the pics turn out later. I sometimes borrow Tracy's Kodak CX7300, but not very often.

what: I'll try and write a little bit about what is in each photo, and where it is, for anyone from outside Toronto.
