Some funky little houses I ride by every day and hardly ever notice. This is on the north side of Gerrard between Sword and Sumach Streets... basically the south edge of Cabbagetown, and across Gerrard is Regent Park, Toronto's oldest social housing community, which is in such poor condition that there's a plan to revert it back to something like it was before the 1950s when houses like those in the photo above were torn down and something "better" was built.

who: I'm in Toronto, and I write stuff here

when: Mainly riding my bike to and from work.

how: I found a Concord Duo 1300 on ebay for $27 CDN, so I can cart it around on my bike and not worry about wrecking a pricey camera. It has no viewscreen or anything, so it's cool seeing how the pics turn out later. I sometimes borrow Tracy's Kodak CX7300, but not very often.

what: I'll try and write a little bit about what is in each photo, and where it is, for anyone from outside Toronto.
