A little bit west of Little India is Pape & Gerrard (the traffic lights at lower-left), publicized by one of the Toronto newspapers as one of the ugliest intersections in the city, due mainly to the parking lot of the mall Gerrard Square (to the left). This is the southern end of the pedestrian bridge that crosses the railway tracks. It's ugly too, but... the design said "take my photo".

who: I'm in Toronto, and I write stuff here

when: Mainly riding my bike to and from work.

how: I found a Concord Duo 1300 on ebay for $27 CDN, so I can cart it around on my bike and not worry about wrecking a pricey camera. It has no viewscreen or anything, so it's cool seeing how the pics turn out later. I sometimes borrow Tracy's Kodak CX7300, but not very often.

what: I'll try and write a little bit about what is in each photo, and where it is, for anyone from outside Toronto.
