The back alley behind these homes, trying to mimic the back alleys in the old neighbouhoods downtown. See all those one-car garages? They actually hold TWO cars. The floors are steel and are part of an elevator system where 2 cars can be stacked. Yes, I was peering slack-jawed into peoples garages in amazement at this.

who: I'm in Toronto, and I write stuff here

when: Mainly riding my bike to and from work.

how: I found a Concord Duo 1300 on ebay for $27 CDN, so I can cart it around on my bike and not worry about wrecking a pricey camera. It has no viewscreen or anything, so it's cool seeing how the pics turn out later. I sometimes borrow Tracy's Kodak CX7300, but not very often.

what: I'll try and write a little bit about what is in each photo, and where it is, for anyone from outside Toronto.
